Granary crayons are
straw and wheat, wheat and straw, mouse
and fat dinosaur.
[Ed's Note: crayon has one or two syllables depending on how you pronounce it. I pronounce it "kran".]

Haiku For Me, Haiku For You first appeared in the early 1970s as a poetry magazine published by my father and his friends in high school. My friends and I resurrected the magazine in high school, creating three issues. HFMHFY has now returned as a blog, where I will post one new haiku daily.
